Kristin Flatness to present on technical panel

Kristin Flatness, Riverland Community College’s Pharmacy Technology program director and instructor, will participate on a professional panel at the Minnesota Society of Health System Pharmacist (MSHP) Annual Meeting in Rochester April 16 and 17. The topic of the panel discussion is “Technician Panel: Unique Roles of Pharmacy Technicians in Practice.” 

As program director and instructor for the pharmacy technician program, Flatness’ responsibilities include curriculum planning and development, student advising and intern supervision, assessing student learning and budget planning and fiscal management.

Flatness has a bachelor of science degree in education from the University of Minnesota and has been a certified pharmacy technician at Albert Lea Medical Center for the past several years.
