New instructor in business and office technology at Riverland Community College named

Melissa Diegnau has begun as a full-time instructor in the Riverland Community College Business and Office Technology Department. Diegnau has been an adjunct instructor with Riverland for the past six years and has taught courses for business and office, related studies and supervisory management. She began at the start of spring semester in January.

Her responsibilities include classroom preparation, instruction and evaluation of student learning Riverland Business and Office Technology program. Courses in this program area include keyboarding, proofreading, intro to computers, business communication, integrated office skills, machine transcription, database concepts and applications, office supervision and management, presentation graphics.

Diegnau also has teaching experience as an adjunct instructor with Minnesota State University, Mankato where she has taught courses in human resource management, principles of management and project management. She has a master’s degree in business administration from Southwest Minnesota State University.
