S.C.O.R.E. names new members

Stan Johnson, Judy Verdoorn, Don Cashin and Paul Sparks recently joined the Albert Lea S.C.O.R.E. branch as counselors. S.C.O.R.E., “Counselors to America’s Small Business,” is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. This group offers their wisdom and advice to new and existing business in the area at no cost.
Casey Swenson is the president of the Albert Lea S.C.O.R.E. branch. “I am pleased to see our group of available counselors grow. This group has been very successful and brings a wealth of expertise that they are willing to share to help others,” he said.
Other members of the group include: Swenson, Herb Andersen, Herb Anderson, Noel Austin, Keith Fligge, Larry Forster, Dick Kary and Henry Savelkoul.
The Albert Lea S.C.O.R.E. group works closely with the Albert Lea Economic Development Agency (ALEDA). Their meetings are held at the ALEDA offices. ALEDA provides support services to the group.
