Washington Avenue Apartments, Albert Lea’s newest affordable apartments for low income seniors has apartments available. If you’re 62 or older and in need of a new, rent-subsidized apartment, Washington Avenue Apartments may be the place for you.

Located at 608 S. Washington Ave., Washington Avenue Apartments offers one-bedroom apartments with rent based on 30 percent of your monthly income, income limits apply. There is no application fee, and no obligation to move in if you apply.

Accessible Space, Inc., the nonprofit manager of Washington Avenue Apartments, will have an experienced housing representative on-site to answer any questions and provide guided tours from Friday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Food and refreshments will be provided, and applications will be on hand for those interested in applying on the spot.
