Residents of Albert Lea can attend the release of transportation expert Dan Burden’s walkability report for Albert Lea at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Senior Center in Skyline Plaza.

According to a news release from the city, there will be a summary of recommendations, breakout sessions, a discussion of the city’s 2009 walkway and bikeway projects. It said there will be an explanation of the walking school bus concept.

The meeting is part of the AARP/Blue Zones City Health Makeover sponsored by United Health Foundation.
