Albert Lea JV baseball falls short in 3 games

The Tigers junior varsity baseball team traveled to Rochester Century Monday for a doubleheader.
In the first game the Tisgers came up on the short end, losing 10-9 in the bottom of the seventh.
The Tigers ripped off 13 hits to Century’s eight, but the story of the game was walks.
The Tigers gave the Panthers 13 free passes.
The second game was called for lack of light. The game ended in a 2-2 tie.
The Tigers fell Thursday to John Marshall 11-0.
The Rockets got off to a quick start, jumping out to a 7-0 lead by the second inning. The Tigers never recovered, falling victim to the 10-run rule in the fifth inning.
The Tigers are now 5-4-1 on the year and take on Mankato West in a doubleheader on Tuesday.
