Blooming Prairie won its third straight one-run game this season Tuesday in Wells with a 9-8 decision against United South Central.
Justin Ingvalson went 4-for-5 and drove in the game-winning runs in the top of the seventh for the Blossoms who remained undefeated.
“Today they did just enough right, more than we did,” said Rebels head coach Pat Frank.
Jamie Willette reached on an error and Logan Underwood was hit by a pitch to set the table for Ingvalson.
USC took the lead in the fourth inning behind an A.J. Dreyer home run for a 4-3 lead, but the Blossoms stormed back for four runs in the third.
The Rebels came back for two in the third and one in the sixth, but it wasn’t enough.
Nick Fure took the loss for USC, going 2 2/3, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out one.
The Rebels had 10 hits in the game.
