Hollandale Christian School’s fundraiser $ellabration Auction raised more than $33,000, a record for the event, according to a news release from the school.

As a result, Shawn McCarthy, chairman of the 2009 $ellebration Auction at Hollandale Christian School, will be taped to a wall at 9:30 a.m. Friday.

McCarthy challenged the student body to bring their grandparents or invite special guest to the annual school auction. If more than 60 grandparents came, he agreed he would be taped to the wall at a school assembly.

“It’s all about the kids” said McCarthy, in the release.

Hollandale Christian School is a K-8th grade school.
