Kenneth Ray Cagle was born in Amarillo, Texas on Aug. 3, 1941, the son of Kenneth and Helen (Jones) Cagle. He is the oldest of his siblings.
Kenneth was born blind and mentally challenged and a savant. Even though his memory was excellent, he had the mind of a 7-year-old. He was a whiz with numbers, figuring people’s ages out down to the months and days. He knew the time zones across the United States and could recite the weather man’s predictions each day. He was the family’s memory bank — anytime they needed to know an important date or event, Kenneth knew it.
He had a great love for music as well as a good ear for music. The family was musically inclined and he joined the family on many occasions with his kazoo playing music. Kenneth touched many lives through the years with his talents and he loved to hear all about Jehovah God and the prospect of being about to see in the Paradise earth in the near future.
Kenneth greatly appreciated all the care givers who graciously helped him through the years.
He is survived by his sister Beverly Smith of Clarks Grove; brothers Gary M. Cagle of Sherman, Texas, and William Cagle of Sherman, Texas, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Cagle in 2000.
