The Lake Mills girls’ track and field team placed third Tuesday at Garner-Hayfield in an eight-team field.

The Bulldogs had four first-place finishes including a first from Haley Krull in the 100-meter dash, Sammy Nelson in the 400-meter hurdles, the distance medley, and the 200-meter dash.

Krull was a double winner, posting an 13.49 in the 100 and a 27.58 in the 200.

The distance medley team of Ali Dugger, Haley Mathews, Sammy Nelson and Darcy Nelson won the event with a time of 4:47.22.

Sammy Nelson won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.09.
