Hy-Vee Inc. and Nashville recording artist David Joseph have joined forces to raise funds for the National Fisher House Foundation.
Similar to the Ronald McDonald House, Fisher House provides housing for military families so they can be with their loved ones during hospitalization. With a March-April promotion in place at nearly 200 Hy-Vee grocery stores, a portion of the proceeds made from the sale of Joseph’s 11-song CD, “I’m Coming Home,” will go directly to Fisher House.
Hy-Vee has included a $2 coupon for Joseph’s military tribute CD in their monthly coupon book, which has a distribution of 1 million people. With a 40 second in-house commercial playing in many Hy-Vee store locations plus extensive promotional materials and display units to showcase the CD/DVD two-pack, Joseph feels confident that Fisher House will experience increased revenue from this promotion.
Hy-Vee’s $2 coupon can be redeemed as late as April 15, but Joseph will contribute proceeds indefinitely. More information about Joseph can be found at www.DavidJoseph.org.
