The bats never got going for the United South Central softball team Tuesday night in Wells against Randolph in a 3-0 loss.
The Rebels managed just three hits in the game and had a tough time figuring out Rockets starter Brienna Otte.
“She kept us off balance,” said USC head coach Brad Huse.
Otte went seven innings and did not give up a walk.
Rebels pitcher Kellie Robbins was strong as well, throwing seven innings. She allowed three runs on six hits and struck out eight.
