With 8.5 percent unemployment in the U.S., why are we bound and determined to accept more than a million new immigrants into the country in 2009? Also, we are planning to let in several thousand refugees. With the problem we have, we don’t need more people to fight for jobs.

During the Depression, President Hoover and Congress sent the illegal aliens home to free up jobs for citizens. This also happened when Eisenhower was president.

We don’t need more people at this time. This is a commonsense issue! Come on, wake up before it is too late. With 20 to 30 million illegals living in the United States, now is the time to clean house. Tell the illegals that they have 60 days to leave on their own or we will deport them at their expense.

Wake up, Congress!
