Woman injured after rollover on interstate

A 26-year-old Austin woman received non-lifethreatening injuries this morning after the vehicle she was riding in lost control and rolled over on Interstate 90.

According to Minnesota State Patrol reports, Sonia Barrera received injuries after the 2001 Ford Explorer being driven by Lizett H. Salazar, 30, of Austin, rolled over at 6:08 a.m. today at milepost 158 of I-90.

The State Patrol stated the roadway was icy.

Salazar was not injured, according to reports.

Semi rolls over

A semitrailer reportedly rolled over near Exit 8 of Interstate 35 on U.S. Highway 65 at 1:29 p.m. Tuesday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Reports indicated there were no injuries, but there was a fuel leak.
