Alden-Conger had two girls compete at the Valley Conference golf tournament Monday at Fox Lake Golf Course in Sherburn with one earning all-conference honors.

Katie Hallman shot 98 to finish third at the tournament and earned all-conference recognition.

Madelia won the team competition with a score of 422 with host Martin County West took second with a 445, Granada-Huntley-East Chain shot 486 to take third and St. Clair shot 490.

Anna Strom also played for the Knights in the tournament as well and just missed all-conference honorable mention with a 141.

Ana Maria Tarazona won medalist honors with a 75 while Granada-Huntley-East Chain’s Chelsea Green finished second overall with a 93.
