Bethlehem Academy edges out NRHEG boys’ golf

Bethlehem Academy edged out the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva boys’ golf team by two strokes Tuesday in Faribault.
The Cardinals shot 172 while the Panthers shot 174.
Eric Hagen won medalist honors with a 39. Defending Class A champion Grant Wayland was one back for Bethlehem Academy. Nick Murray shot 45 and Chris Palmer 48.
NRHEG was led by Jon Kormann who shot 42. Aaron Patraw shot 43, Seth Hansen 44 and Dalen Ferber 45.
The Panther girls’ team defeated the Cardinals 226-257.
Shelby Whitcomb won medalist honors for NRHEG with a 51. Brittni Wangsness and Paige Sorenson shot 58 and Jessica Schultz added a 59.
