On Clark Street outside of First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, Dave Gilbertson hands David Olson a box Saturday for Lutheran World Relief. The First Lutheran Church’s Social Ministry Commission collects quilts, health kits, school kits, sewing kits and soap from area churches to be shipped to St. Paul, then to Baltimore. They will go to 27 countries around the world from Armenia to Zimbabwe. Many members of the Social Ministry Commission were loading the truck Saturday morning.
