I would like to publicly extend congratulations to all the dancers who participated in the Red Cross Dancing with the “Dancing with the Freeborn County Stars” event. Special congratulations to Joy Shaft and Mike Walker, who won the event. This year the Red Cross dancers managed to raise about $21,000 in this hard economy, which I think says tons about the positive things this community can do when asked to. The Red Cross is always there when we need them as we should be when they need our funds.

Again, kudos to all dancers. You did an awesome job! Thank you for all your hard work!
