The First District Republican 2009 Convention will be held at the Ramada Hotel in Rochester on Saturday. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the convention convening at 8:30 a.m.

Main business of this convention will be: 1) Electing new officers for the first Congressional District Republican Party of Minnesota;  2) Amending the constitution for the First Congressional District Republican Party of Minnesota;  3) Providing speaking opportunities for the elected officials and candidates for state party offices.

The Congressional District 1 Central Committee will meet immediately following the adjournment of the Convention.

A candidate forum will be held to meet candidates for state party office tonight beginning at 6 p.m. at the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center.
