Sue Ellis’ advisory class at Southwest Middle School raised $89.82 for the Humane Society of Freeborn County. The students donated $25 toward the building fund and used the rest of the money to buy supplies and toys for the animals. The class decided to raise funds after they talked about random acts of kindness.
