The Albert Lea Knights 10-and-under baseball team started off its tournament schedule by winning the Hardee’s Classic held in Mason City on May 2 and 3.

The Knights finished with a record of 4-1 in the tournament and sealed first place by beating the Mason City Merchants by a score of 12-2 in four innings.

Three Knight pitchers combined for a no-hitter in the championship game.

The next action for the U-10 squad will be the weekend of May 16 and 17 as they travel to Fridley for the MYAS Spring Training tournament.
