The Glenville-Emmons girls’ golf team took second place Friday at the Southeast Conference meet at Cedar River Golf Course in Adams.

The Wolverines shot 497 and finished second to Lanesboro.

Brianna Nelson led Glenville-Emmons with a 105 and earned all-conference honors. April Davies earned all-conference honorable mention and shot 136 on the day. Jenna Klingson shot 119 and Reina Saltou added a 137.

The Wolverine boys shot 424 to finish fifth overall at the conference meet. Lanesboro also claimed the boys’ title.

Cody Huston was all-conference honorable mention and shot 100. Zach Wangen led Glenville-Emmons with a 98 while Blake Lundmark added a 110 and Cody Gaines a 116.

The 1A subsection tournament begins Monday.
