The Glenville-Emmons baseball took advantage of five Lyle/Pacelli errors Thursday for a 5-2 win in Austin.
The Wolverines (8-9, 7-4 SEC) scored three runs in the first inning when Isaiah Iverson was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Jake Kirsch reached on an error that allowed two runs to score.
In the seventh Glenville-Emmons scored twice more when Zach Nelson crossed the plate on Spencer Kral’s RBI single and Kral later scored when Jon Mittag reached on an error.
Mittag battled on the mound, throwing seven innings of seven-hit ball. He struck out one, allowed two unearned runs and walked one in the win.
The Wolverines finish the regular season with Hope Lutheran Saturday in Glenville.
