5 people injured in 2-vehicle crash

Five people were injured Sunday after a car crossed from the southbound lane of traffic on State Highway 13 into the northbound lane, striking another car head-on near the intersection of Freeborn County Road 29.
According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, Jessica J. Quinn, 18, of Albert Lea, was the driver of a 2000 Buick Park Avenue, which crossed into the other lane of traffic at about 6:25 p.m. Sunday.
There were wet road conditions at the time, the State Patrol report stated.
Quinn’s passengers were Danielle Quinn, 12, of Albert Lea and Aaron Raatz, 26, of Albert Lea. They received non-lifethreatening injuries. They were transported to Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea.
Donna Hagerty, 67, of Waseca was the driver of the other car, a 2005 Ford Explorer, and her passenger was Mary Hagerty, 36, of Waseca. Both received non-lifethreatening injuries. They were transported to the Waseca Medical Center.
No alcohol was detected.
