Tom and I would like to publicly applaud the Vogts and the Fields for the new Wedgewood Cove Golf Club & Estates.

At a time when there is economic gloom and fear of taking a risk, they continued on with a positive vision and dream to restore a loss in our community. They have completed this dream through their tenacious attitude and persistence. We are fortunate as a community that they provided more jobs as they made a great investment in our town and surrounding area. What a beautiful spot they have created.

It is well worth stopping out at the new restaurant if you haven’t already done so. Not only is it beautiful, the prices are competitive with other good restaurants. As you do stop by, imagine the many fond memories of class reunions, wedding receptions and community gatherings that will be generated by all who celebrate in this stunning facility.

Thank you, Vogts and Fields, for your continued investment in Albert Lea. Those involved in this wonderful feat have a history of generosity to our community’s charitable organizations and commitment to raising the quality of life for all.
