Don’t get a pet if you can’t afford it

For the love of animals, please, if you cannot afford an animal for a pet, do not buy one or take one.
So many dogs, cats and other pets are abandoned or miscared for because of neglect, hardship or other circumstances. Owning a pet is a big responsibility. Owning a pet is simular to raising a child. Pets need medical care for shots; they need love, and they need food and shelter.
If you cannot afford this, please, do not get a pet! The Humane Society is a forgiving foundation that takes in mistreated and abused animals.
They provide loving homes, vet care etc., to make sure these unwanted, mistreated animals have a second chance which they well deserve. I understand the Freeborn County Humane Society is trying to build a shelter to help all the animals that come to their attention. If you want to make a difference, please find a place in your hearts to make this happen, they along with the innocent little critters need this to come true! Please donate if you can to a great cause!
