“I think this group of guys feeds off of each other,” said Lake Mills head coach Jason Blaser. “They kind of have that friendly rivalry where one guy gets a double then the next guy is trying for a triple.”

Brad Midlang picked up the win in the first game as the Bulldogs knocked off Northwood-Kensett 11-2 in four innings.

The Vikings jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the top of the first, but Lake Mills rallied for a run in the first and two in the second. The Bulldogs went on to score seven in the fourth.

The Vikings won their second game of the day 17-2 against West Hancock.

Jordan Reindl went 4-for-4 with three runs scored. Spencer Capitani had three hits.

Trent Midtgaard had two doubles and Jacob Katcher had two hits and scored three times.
