Terry Wheeler

The memorial service for Terry Levar Wheeler of New Richland will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Friedrich’s Funeral Home in New Richland for his family and friends. Terry died suddenly, Saturday, June 20, 2009, at his home. He was 51 years old.
Terry was born June 18, 1958, in Salmon, Idaho, to Vontella (Foster Edwards) Wheeler. Terry loved trout fishing and hiking in Idaho. He married Juanita Fortner on Oct. 11, 1983. Terry had a variety of labor skills. He was a roughneck on the oil fields, a lumberjack and also worked for various factories in the area. Terry enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and riding his motorcycle. His passion included collecting elephants and spending quality time with his family.
Terry is survived by his wife, Juanita Rae Wheeler of New Richland; beloved son: Jacob Levar Wheeler of New Richland; two stepdaughters: Melissa Ellingson of St. Louis Park and Heather Morton of Phoenix; two grandsons: Bradyn and Mayson of St. Louis Park; two sisters: Tammy Mitchell and Tauny Keavney of Salmon, Idaho; two brothers: Tony Wheeler of Salmon, Idaho, and Brad Edwards of Oregon.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother Vontella Wheeler; brothers, Troy Wheeler and Brent Edwards and sister, Teena Marie Hootes.
