I would like to thank the Fountain Lake Sportsman’s Club for all their hard work on making the Take a Kid Fishing Day a reality! I would like to encourage families to take advantage of Take A Kid Fishing weekend, which is June 5-7. Minnesota residents 18 and older can fish for free during these days when they accompany an angler younger than 16.

So bring your kids, the grandkids or even the neighbor kids out to Edgewater Park on the Sixth of June! I would also like to personally thank all the patrons of Harold’s Bar for their donations to help fund Take a Kid Fishing Day! Without them, I do not believe we would have been raising money for Take a Kid Fishing Day, so thanks from all the staff at Harold’s Bar
