Waiting for ‘fore!’

Co-owner Jerry Vogt on Wednesday announced the driving range was open. He said people with season passes can use the driving range for free as part of the package. People buying a green fee also get use of the driving range for the day. People wanting only to drive on the range must pay $15 for all-day use. Golf balls come in stacks, rather than in buckets, and the driving range is one of the first things people see at the new development as they enter on South Ninth Street. Vogt said he expects the first nine holes of the golf course to open between June 15 and 30.
