The 16th annual Eddie Cochran Print by artist Eloise Adams was unveiled at the Low Bucks Car Club Show & Swap Meet June 13.

This year’s print features Cochran posing with his Gretsch guitar. The caption with this pose was, “Is he trying to look like Frank Sinatra.” His song featured on the print is “Cut Across Shorty.”

Albert Lea businesses featured include The Trumble’s Restaurant with Luke and Mary Trumble, who opened the business in October of 1985; and Motor Inn Co., celebrating 101 years in Albert Lea. Shown are Elmer Matthies, who was the owner from 1939 to 1962, Lorraine and Howard Christensen, who were the owners from 1962 to 1995; and David Christensen, who has owned the business since 1995.

Cars illustrated on the print are John Anderson’s 1939 Ford coupe and Eddie Anderson’s 1948 Chevrolet. Both are Low Bucks Car Club members.

Proceeds from the sale of prints are used to fund the Eddie Cochran scholarships, given to students majoring in the fine arts.

“It is a pleasure to work with the Low Bucks Car Club. I enjoy researching the Eddie Cochran story and also the story of Albert Lea,” Adams said.

Prints are signed and numbered. There are 400 black-and-white prints and 120 hand-painted prints. Only 10 prints are made with a remarque.

Prints may be purchased at Adams Originals Shop, 238 S. Broadway Ave.
