Conger 4-H

The Conger 4-H Club met on June 14 or its club tour. The meeting was called to order after the tour. The Chicos family prepared the window display for June Dairy Days. The club participated in the Morin Lake Days Parade in Alden on June 20 and will be in the July 3 parade in Albert Lea.

Members and adults are needed to sign up to work in the Clover Stand and Livestock Breeder’s Stand at the Freeborn County Fair. Meat and miscellaneous raffle tickets were handed out to each family to sell. The club will be having both a booth and a banner at the county fair.  On July 29, the members who are showing livestock at the fair will have their interviews.  The club voted to go swimming at the Wells pool for the next meeting, which is July 12. The meeting ended with a potluck supper with burgers and hot dogs donated by the Conger Meat Market.
