Kisti Skaar, Dawn Freeman and Terry Fox, all of Albert Lea, sales associates for Coldwell Banker Holtan Real Estate, spent three days at the Coldwell Banker International Business Conference in San Antonio.

The Coldwell Banker International Business Conference was held March 1-4 at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio. The annual event united thousands of Coldwell Banker associates, brokers, managers and employees for an intensive professional development program and awards ceremony.

“The goal of IBC is to allow those in the Coldwell Banker system to enhance their skills so they can become even more successful,” said Jim Gillespie, president and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. “The annual IBC allows attendees to visit the trade show, take courses about the industry, learn about the latest Coldwell Banker can offer them, and most importantly network with other real estate professionals from various parts of the country and the world. It is also a time to recognize achievements of Coldwell Banker affiliated companies and their sales associates.”

The MarketPlace was busy. Attendees lined up at the Coldwell Banker booth to shoot their first YouTube video to explain why consumers should consider living in their market. They also experienced the latest Coldwell Banker innovation — the use of the MicroSoft Surface technology. All attendees received a bar scan that, when placed on the interactive screen, automatically called up their profile page and listings.

Another highlight came when it was announced that Skaar won the five-night trip to Pamplona, Spain, for the “Running of the Bulls.”
