Leslie Satter, 51

The funeral service for Leslie Ann Satter, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, 2210 E. Main St., Albert Lea. The Rev. Milton Ost will officiate. Interment will be in Oakland Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Leslie died at her home on Friday, July 17, 2009. She was 51.
Leslie was born on March 1, 1958, in Albert Lea the daughter of Wesley W. and Margaret (Wangen) Satter. Her father, Wesley, died suddenly in November of 1957, before she was born. She graduated from Albert Lea High School.
Leslie loved animals and she and her mother had bought an acreage and enjoyed having and riding horses together.
She was especially fond of her pet “kitty.”
She will be greatly missed by her family: her mother and stepfather: Margaret and Robert Peterson of Albert Lea; stepbrothers and sisters: Steven (Kathy) Peterson of Minneapolis, Wayne (Sue) Peterson of Albert Lea, Joanne (Doyle) Almquist of Alden; aunts: Miriam Wangen of Brownsdale, Sylvia Satter of Albert Lea and uncle Melvin Stoa of LaPorte, many cousins including special cousin Hazel Spiering.
She was preceded in death by her father Wesley Satter; grandparents: Charlie and Ananda Wangen and Grant and Mable Satter.
