Shelter animals available for adoption

These are the animals that are currently available for adoption at the Albert Lea Animal Shelter.

Dogs

Honey: Beagle mix, spayed female. A happy girl, likes to be with people.

Rosalyn: Pit bull/lab mix, spayed female. A young dog, very friendly.  Likes to play and be petted.

Bacon: Rat terrier mix, neutered male. Very energetic, house trained.  Likes to go for walks or runs.

Fraidy: A Shi zu mix, neutered male. Young. He is a little cautious at first but once he knows you, he is very happy and friendly.

 
Cats

Ginger: Tortiseshell spayed female. Very friendly.  Likes to be combed and petted.

Silver Persian neutered male. Older cat but very laid back. Currently has a lion cut.

Tabby with white bib and six toes and each foot. Female, spayed, talkative and very friendly.  She came in with the Persian.

White cat, black cat, orange and white cat and black and white tuxedo cat. Males, all neutered. These guys are brothers and are all very friendly.  White one is very curious.

Orange tiger. Neutered male. Very talkative. When he’s not talking he’s curled up sleeping.

Silver tabby. Neutered male. He is a big guy and seems very friendly.

Wendy: Silver tabby with white. Young, female. She is very friendly and curious.

Mischief: Black spayed female. She is a very friendly girl and likes to explore and sit on your lap.

Black and white cat. Male, not yet neutered. Seems to be friendly.

Shelter hours are from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
