Eleanor Fuller, 91

Funeral services for Eleanor Catherine Fuller, 91, of Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Eleanor died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Center.
Eleanor Catherine Fuller was born on April 1, 1918, to Sebert and Elizabeth (Mielke) Lien in Polk County, Wis. She lived in Waverly as a child then moved to Freeborn County in seventh grade. Eleanor graduated from Albert Lea High School. She attended nurses training in Florida and then returned to Albert Lea where she was employed at Naeve Hospital and the Albert Lea Clinic. Eleanor was a former member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She loved animals, especially cats. Eleanor also enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Survivors include her brother, Sanford (Neva) Lien; and many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Marvin, Lawrence, Oliver, Verdon and Herman; and sister, Charlotte Brouwers.
