Kenneth Anderson, 94

Funeral services for Kenneth Jerome Anderson of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by Albert Lea Area veterans groups.
Mr. Anderson died Wednesday afternoon at the Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea. He was 94 years old.
Kenneth was born July 13, 1915, in Allan Township, son of Paul and Caroline (Lillefloren) Anderson. He spent his childhood in Canada where he attended public school. He later lived in North and South Dakota and Minnesota. Kenneth had been employed as a truck driver, farming near Hayward and Conger, and later working on grain elevator construction. Kenneth served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army.
Kenneth was active in the American Legion and VFW acting as post commander.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking in his free time.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Jerome, and his wife Donna Anderson of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Keith, Kevin, Kyle and Klint Anderson; and one brother, John Johnson, of Albert Lea.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Helen; second wife, Hilda; brothers and sister.
