Sharon Hunt, 66

Sharon Marlys Seltun Hunt, 66, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, in Bradenton, Fla. A visitation and gathering with friends took place on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Bricelyn, with a memorial prayer service following at 5 p.m. The Rev. Dick Steffen officiated and burial was in the Bricelyn Lutheran Cemetery, Seely Township, Faribault County.
Sharon was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Brush Creek Township, Faribault County, the daughter of Severt and Stella (Espeland) Seltun. She married Tom Date and to this union two sons were born. The two later divorced. Sharon married Robert Hunt.
Family was very important to Sharon. She loved flowers, animals and doing crossword puzzles. She was an avid country western music fan. She especially loved being in her home with her little dog.
Sharon is survived by sons: Troy (Kimberly) Date of Edwall, Wash., and Tracy Date of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandsons: Kevin Date of Edwall, Wash., and Joe Graves of Lakeland, Fla.; brother, Dale Seltun, of Rochester; sister, Alpha Kingstrom, of Bricelyn; and her aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hunt; her parents; stepfather, Ray Erikson; brothers: Jerry Seltun and Mark Erikson; and nephew, Lon Seltun.
