The president says something to the effect that maybe older Americans should rely on pain medication instead of more expensive medical procedures.

He must never have lived with someone who has severe back pain. If he had I doubt he would make such a dumb statement.

I also have to wonder if he really understands what some older Americans have to live with.

Why is he trying to revamp the whole health care system when polls show that about 85 percent of us are satisfied with our current health insurance coverage?

Why revamp the whole system just to provide insurance to the 25 million or so who can’t afford such insurance? We don’t need to insure illegal aliens! We do not need insure those who could pay, but choose not to! If they go to the emergency room, there are ways to make them pay.
