Andy Petersen, Chris Baas, Phil Schmidt and Steve Petersen won the eighth MGA Team Championship Tuesday at Giants Ridge’s The Legend and The Quarry golf courses.

The team posted rounds of 136 and 135 to finish at 17-under par. The team won the event by two strokes.

Andy Petersen, Baas, Schmidt and Mick Hockinson teamed in 2006 to win the event.

The championship event format is 36 holes of best-ball scoring between two-person teams. The Legend and the Quarry are par 72s and play to a length of 6,930 and 6,696 yards, respectively.
