Knights volleyball falls to No. 8 Martin County West

Alden-Conger fell in three sets to the eighth-ranked volleyball team in Class A Thursday night when it faced Martin County West in Alden.

The Mavericks (13-4, 7-0 Valley) got a 25-13, 25-12, 25-11 victory over the Knights (4-16-1, 1-7 Valley) in dominating fashion.

Kenzie Martin led Alden-Conger with four kills and Allyssa Maras tallied 12 digs. Alli Songstad had 12 assists and Katie Hallman two ace blocks.

The Knights face Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain Tuesday at Martin Luther High School.
