Alice T. Donovan, 72, flew off with the angels on Nov. 5, 2009. She now watches us all from a new and beautiful vantage point. She was born June 5, 1937, in Alexandria to Septer and Bonnie Termath. She married Daniel Donovan in Albert Lea in 1957. They had four children: Mark Daniel of Troutdale, Ore., Michelle Marie of Bedford, Texas, Shannon Maureen (Dennis) of Hudson, Wis., and Joseph Termath of Anoka. She was the exceedingly proud grandmother of Flannery Kathleen (Michael), Benjamin Joseph, Jakob Patrick, Kathleen Marie, Tara Kae, Mikaela Donovan, Tatum Maureen and Daniel Preston; great-grandchildren: Julie, Ann, Collin Michael, Lydia Kathleen and Alexis Rae.
Alice graduated from Albert Lea High School and went on to earn her master’s degree in guidance and counseling. She worked in many areas in her field. She is preceded in death by her parents and Daniel. Her life was brilliant. A celebration of her life is today at 3 p.m. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center (Highway 36 and County 5 in Stillwater). A gathering of friends and family is two hours prior. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
