Riley Swearingen, USC, QB
Offense: 140 rushing attempts, 597 yards and eight touchdowns.
Had 78 completions on the season for 1,194 yards and 16 touchdowns with only four interceptions.
Alex Dreyer, USC, DT
The Rebel defensive tackle recorded 55 tackles on the season, along with providing solid play along the offensive line as a senior captain.
Jake Brekken, Lake Mills, RB/LB
Rushed for 1,139 yards and 15 touchdowns. Led the Bulldogs in tackles with 134, five of those for a loss, along with one interception and one fumble recovery.
Tyson Werner, N-K, FB/LB
Led Vikings with118 total tackles for the second consecutive season.
As a fullback Werner had 125 rushing attempts, 562 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Luke Grossman, Albert Lea, RB/S
Had 176 rushing attempts, 806 yards, seven touchdowns.
Recorded 58 total tackles, while tying for team lead in sacks with three.
Tyler Haaland, Albert Lea, LB
Haaland finished second on the team in tackles with 79 with one fumble recovery as a senior captain.
Jordan Cooper, Albert Lea, FB/DT
Finished the season with 65 total tackles, two sacks. Led team with two fumble recoveries and was a key piece in stopping the run for the Tigers.
David Lindell, NRHEG, FB/LB
Had 60 rushing attempts for 421 yards and had six touchdowns.
Led the Panthers with a team high 117 tackles, recording one interception and recovering three fumbles.
Kyle Bauman, USC, WR
Had 21 catches, 461 yards with 10 touchdowns in his first varsity season. A 6-foot-7 target was a favorite of QB Riley Swearingen.
Michael Thofson, G-E, RB
Led the Wolverines offense with 219 rushing attempts for 1,187 yards. While reaching the end zone eight times as G-E had revitalizing year.
Justin Peterson, N-K, OL/DL
The former allstater didn’t disappoint in his senior campaign racking up 76 tackles on the defensive line. Provided a dominating presence on the offensive line at the tackle position.
Derek Sanderson G-E, DE
Led the Wolverines with 143 total tackles on defense, with a sack and interception and was an important leader for G-E this season as a senior.
