The Albert Lea Salvation Army Angel Tree and Toys for Tots locations have been confirmed. Each year The Salvation Army is blessed with businesses and organizations in our community who volunteer to be a designated drop off place for our Angel Trees and Toys for Tots.

This year the Angel Tree locations include the Northbridge Mall, Herberger’s, First Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran Church, Concordia Lutheran Church, Central Freeborn Lutheran Church, Minnesota Corrugated Box, St. Theodore Catholic Church and Trails Truck Stop.

This year the following businesses are participating for Toys for Tots drop off location: Albert Lea Tribune, Maurices, Shopko, Bonnerup Funeral Services and Edward Jones Financial Services.

In the past Wal-Mart has participated as an Angel Tree location, but a recent decision from the local Walmart management has discontinued the distribution of Angel Tree tags at their Albert Lea location. Management from both Shopko and HyVee are working with The Salvation Army to fill this gap.

Salvation Army leaders encourage everyone to go to the above locations and pick a tag from the Angel Tree to purchase a gift for a needy child. The Salvation Army is asking that all toys and gifts be brought to any of these sites unwrapped.
