Lake Mills has announced it will cancel classes for Thursday.

Albert Lea, Alden-Conger, United South Central, Northwood-Kensett and Glenville-Emmons have announced they will begin classes Thursday two hours late.

Other area schools that are two hours late include Blue Earth and St. Ansgar.

Forest City and Clear Lake also have canceled classes for Thursday.

Roads this evening are looking grim, but superintendents are hoping the forecast holds up for the winter storm to pass by the morning.
