Baby in Target ad has local connection

The 8-month-old grandson of a Clarks Grove couple is featured this week on Target’s Web site in the baby section of the site.
The baby, Carter Huber, grandson of Don and Judy Anderson, can be found by going to www.target.com and then clicking on the “Baby” tab.
Carter, who was 6 months at the time of the photo, has also done three jobs for Lifetouch, said his mother Kelly Huber, a 2002 Albert Lea High School graduate.
“We’re very proud,” she said, speaking for herself and her husband, Roland Huber, who live in Coon Rapids. “I keep clicking on it, and I can’t believe it’s our son up there.”
In the advertisement, Carter can be seen sitting on the floor of a home with a big smile on his face. He’s surrounded by toys, and a couch and Christmas tree are in the background.
His mother said when she was pregnant with Carter, she was asked to do maternity modeling with an agency up in the Twin Cities, but she didn’t feel comfortable doing that. So the agency asked her to bring her baby in when he was born. That’s how it all started.
This is the couple’s first child.
“We’re just really happy that he’s doing this,” grandmother Judy Anderson said. “I’m just glad he made the ad, and we’re really proud of him. It’s pretty exciting.”
Carter’s other set of grandparents, Roland and Cassandra Huber live in Coon Rapids.
