Blue Earth too strong for NRHEG boys in second half

Blue Earth broke open a three-point game Friday with the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva boys’ basketball team in the second half for a 50-36 victory in Blue Earth.

The Panthers (1-1) trailed 21-18 at halftime, but the Buccaneers were too strong inside in the second half as they outscored NRHEG 29-18 in the second half.

Nate Carr scored 19 points to lead Blue Earth.

Spencer Busho led the Panthers with 12 points.

NRHEG plays Mankato Loyola Tuesday in New Richland.
