Bulldog boys bounce back with victory over Belmond-Klemme

With a loss to sixth-ranked West Fork Saturday, Lake Mills got back on track with a 77-60 victory over Belmond-Klemme Tuesday in Lake Mills.

The Bulldogs (5-1) used a 23-11 second quarter to go into the break with a 44-27 lead and that’s was as close as the Broncos would get to Lake Mills.

The Bulldogs had four players reach double figures in scoring on the night. Marcus Gaskill scored a game-high 21 points, Jordan Colby and Chris Throne had 15 points each and Tyler Rice put in 10 points.

Belmond-Klemme was led in scoring by Justin Meyer, who scored 17 points.

The Bulldogs will be in action at home on Friday as they host Garner-Hayfield.
