Car hits snowplow on interstate

One man received minor injuries when his car rear-ended a Minnesota Department of Transportation snowplow on Interstate 90 near the Hayward Exit at 9:25 a.m. Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The driver of the car was listed as Shalon A. Maxson, 30, Austin.

The report said the snowplow had all emergency lights on when it was rear ended by the car.

Over the weekend the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office report said they responded to three accidents without injuries in the county and assisted the State Patrol with four accidents on the interstates and state highways.
