A fire torched a home only two days after Christmas.

No one was in the residence at 208 S.E. First St. in Clarks Grove when a fire was reported just after 6 a.m. Sunday.

Firemen from Clarks Grove, Geneva and Hollandale fought the fire.

A log entry at the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office lists the owner of the home as Mark Jensen.

The Sheriff’s Office did not issue a news release about the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
